Oh so it's not just me? I downloaded Gamut again and ran the repair option, but I still can't create a new game. :(

I can create a new game just fine but I remember a while back all the games disappeared from both the client and the site for a few days...

I'm getting "unable to select a UI for this game" and then something about the bookkeeper not responding. This is with both linux and windows.

I've been trying to use Werewolf for a while with friends, and we noticed Werewolf, Fluxx, and Treehouse all fail to launch. We ready up, then it stays on "The referee is setting up the game. Please wait..." and gives us an error saying "The bookkeeper could not authorize this game: internal referee error". Any ideas why? Or just fix it, either way works. Thanks

These last few days no games have been appearing in the Gamut client or the web-site itself... Is this just me or is anyone else experiencing it?... Also, I wish the year was on the post dates in the forum... This could be the third post in years for all I know...

In flux all goals take affect immediately. If I play '10 cards in hand' goal any person with 10 cards in their hand wins. If more than one person has 10 or more cards in their hand, whoever has more cards wins. Immediately. Not at the end of the turn or beginning of the next. Immediately.

This has been broken for as long as I've ever played on volity. Find it pretty amazing that it took this long to be posted about unless that mar 20 post date is from 2007.

This happened to my just earlier today... I didn't think much of it until I saw this post... In my case, to opponent did not win as they didn't have more then 10 cards... Instead they played a different goal card and the game continued... I didn't have 10 cards until after I changed the draw rule during that turn... I don't recall if this was before or after I set the 10 Card goal...

Ok my friend and I have figured out how to schedule a game and we downloaded gamut - but how do you actually launch a game at starting time? We try clicking on create game and start game and it keeps giving us a pop up window about no bookkeeper.

Please help! We're fluxx addicts who live thousands of miles apart and can only play together several times a year. We love that we found the game online -- except we can't figure out the launch aspet!

Thanks for any input.

By the way: if this happens to you, I'd really appreciate a screenshot of the game immediately after the Event.

I realize that it's rare enough that the intersection of people who see the problem, and people who see this message, will probably be zero. But I'm asking anyhow.

No, I'm still unable to reproduce the problem. Or find it.

This is frustrating, but I've tried several scenarios, including the one you describe above. (Also playing draw-5 as the last move of my turn.) The failure fails to fail. Grr.
